Snowdrops

Growing up in Vermont, my favorite sign of spring was snowdrop flowers popping out from under the snow. I always found the dichotomy between their delicate looks and their hearty resistance to the bitter cold of the Northeastern winters particularly striking. This quilt is inspired by these blooms, blossoming in the dark and cold, against all odds.
